TEAM UP Workshops
Team Up for Your Child author Wendy Lowe Besmann brings a vibrant, humorous style to her nuts-and-bolts presentations for families, case managers, health professionals, and educators.
Ms. Besmann, the parent of children with autism and bipolar disorder, has contributed articles to national publications that include Better Homes and Gardens, USA Today, The New York Times, SELF, Travel & Leisure, Atlantic Monthly, Esquire, and Parenting. She currently serves as president of NAMI Knoxville, and is a member of the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disability’s State Mental Health Planning and Policy Council.
Ms. Besmann’s lecture, workshop, and seminar offerings–which range in length from 45 minutes to a full-day presentation–are available as recurring workshops in a single conference setting or as multiple bookings in a local area.
